What Is Anger?
Anger is a feeling that is easily understood by almost everyone. At some point in time everyone has gotten angry over something. Whether or not you show it in an intense outburst, or a more quiet seething anger, anger is something that each of us deal with in our own way. It is a human emotion and one that is very natural. There are many things that can contribute to anger from the mundane issues such as your husband not doing the dishes, or to the really serious like feelings of disrespect from someone. No matter what triggers it, you should not that it is healthy and normal to feel anger, but it is how you deal with it and what you do with that anger that can be either positive or negative.

If you handle anger in a negative way you can become violent, prone to emotional outbursts, or you may act irrationally. This can put unnecessary strain on your personal life, your relationships, cause you to drink or do drugs, and it can actually do damage to your body. When anger is affecting your health, you need to look into treatment for anger because if you don’t, it can cause heart disease, high blood pressure, and ulcers. It can lead to other disorders such as anxiety as well. There are great ways to cope with your anger so that you can be a happier person and lead a life full of positive energy and not negative energy. If you do yoga or meditation on a regular basis you will lead an overall happier life so you won’t be faced with the anger you feel on a regular basis.
